Secret Weapon Prostaff member John Pollard and his fishing partner Dallas Weldon are teaming up to compete in the Pink Lure Tour — a bass tournament that raises money for the Joy to Life Foundation. This non-profit organization supports early detection of breast cancer by providing free mammograms for medically underserved women under the age of fifty in 28 counties of South Central Alabama. The Pink Lure Tour is just one of many events they hold each year to raise money for this cause.
Team Bama Hotspots is determined to raise $1,000 by October to help the Joy to Life Foundation reach its goal of $50,000. So far they’re well on their way with $195, mainly contributed by folks like us who chip in $5, $10, $20 or $50.
Let’s support John and Dallas in this worthwhile effort. The Pink Lure Tour Bass Tournament will be held October 3 on Cooter’s Pond, Prattville, Alabama. [Donate]
