Heather Broom 1st place co-angler BFL

Clarks Hill Lake, Appling, GA September 27, 2009 — Heather Broom, Secret Weapon Prostaff of Sylva, North Carolina, captured first place in the co-angler side of the BFL Savannah River Division tournament on Clarks Hill Lake.

In second place after the first day with five bass weighing 8-03, she added two more fish the next day that brought her two-day total to 10-15. First place pace-setter Richard Buller of Washington, GA built a two-pound lead on day one but blanked on day two, dropping him three places.

This comes on the heels of her strong showing earlier in the month when Heather took second place in the WBT tournament on Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Congratulations, Heather!
